Big changes are coming in how cardiovascular care during pregnancy is managed. The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) has introduced a dedicated Pregnancy Heart Team section, expanded recommendations on cardiomyopathies, arrhythmias, aortopathies, and peripartum cardiomyopathy, and new guidance on adverse pregnancy outcomes and post-partum care.
These updates put a stronger focus on risk assessment, shared decision-making, and long-term follow-up for women with cardiovascular disease.

Stay tuned for the full guidelines in the European Heart Journal.
